Tattoo Two

let me show you what you've done to me
this tattoo's a wound that'll never heal
it bleeds until the ink's all stained through
the depths of the epidermis and seals

for life this writing'll tell our tale
reminding myself of the pain you dealt
out hot-handedly and so nonchalantly
that it boiled my tears and all I'd felt

when vapour was all left I had to lay down
an only offering of my misty steamed heart
you didn't let condense any of my intent
just let the wind take my essence and depart
